Virtual Office Hours Event

The CoE is convening workforce, education, and industry stakeholders to begin the process of Registered Apprenticeship (RA) program development. In this meeting we will be discussing how to get the key players or "ecosystem" to the table to respond to what your industry needs with RA programs. Prior to joining the meeting, please go to the CoE website to download and fill out a short Workforce Board Guide and Partnership Questionnaire.

This meeting is part of Safal Partners' US Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Technical Assistance (RA TA) Center of Excellence on Strategic Partnerships and System Alignment. The Center provides expert technical assistance on quality Registered Apprenticeship programming and increasing Apprenticeship alignment with America's public workforce system and educational systems.

The Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-Cap) is a pioneering organization in the field of healthcare Registered Apprenticeship (RA). It serves as a DOL-contracted intermediary, providing no-cost technical assistance and funding support to employers or other entities interested in developing RA programs in healthcare, behavioral health, or early learning. This webinar will explore the benefits of RA through the lens of equity and inclusion and the positive impact it has, including promoting diversity in hiring and empowering individuals to gain new skills that are marketable to employers.

The Equitable Apprenticeship Toolkit was developed to help those designing and running pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs to intentionally encourage and support the inclusion of apprentices who reflect the full diversity of our communities. Come learn what is included in the toolkit and how the information-gathering and action-planning tools could be a resource for your team. Concrete examples of how programs have successfully utilized this toolkit and linked adult education to apprenticeship will be shared.
