Apprenticeship PA Collaborative and Expo

2024 ApprenticeshipPA will bring together industry, education, workforce, and stakeholders across Pennsylvania that want to strengthen apprenticeship employment and work-based models of training and development.

Center subject matter experts will present "Building Student Awareness of Apprenticeship Career Pathways." This workshop will provide insights into how education can seamlessly transition into apprenticeship. Data and statistics will be shown highlighting the impact and success rates of Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs, exploring the many benefits of combining traditional education with RA, such as enhanced skills acquisition, job readiness, and long-term career success.

NAWDP Youth Symposium

NAWDP's Youth Symposium has become one of the largest annual gatherings of workforce development professionals serving youth, with more than 900 attendees from across the country. Join us in celebrating "25 Years of Advancing America's Youth" at this impactful event. Network with workforce professionals who serve youth across the country, share or learn from others' best practices, create partnerships with other organizations, and learn about innovative programs and potential solutions to issues in your area.

Eastern KY RA Summit

The Summit aims to demystify the concept of Registered Apprenticeships—an "earn while you learn" model endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor that combines on-the-job training with technical instruction. Attendees will discover how these apprenticeships can transform their workforce by providing high-quality training to new and current employees, enhancing their competitive edge. The event will offer practical insights, collaboration opportunities, and expert guidance to help employers, industry stakeholders, and educational partners in Eastern Kentucky strengthen and sustain their regional workforce.
