NAWDP Youth Symposium 2022: Bootcamp on Registered Apprenticeships

This year's NAWDP Youth Symposium offered a free, 2-hour pre-conference Bootcamp, focused on RA. The bootcamp provided a foundational knowledge of developing and implementing RA programs. Attendees built on this knowledge throughout the conference by attending workshops in the apprenticeship track, which highlighted promising practices and showcased organizations that have successfully implemented apprenticeship programs. The bootcamp was free to in-person symposium attendees.

System Alignment with Apprenticeship: 3-Part Webinar Series Part 3: Increasing Service Alignment in Apprenticeship Initiatives

Once alignment assessment is completed, how can this information be used to strengthen an apprenticeship initiative? In this session, we looked at what this assessment tells us about "where we are” and moving to "where we would like to be" in alignment. Using lessons from "Implementation Science" we considered the engagement of critical drivers, their roles and their importance to systems change that is often required in the objectives of apprenticeship expansion.

Objectives:

• Recognize the importance of Consensus in Alignment Definition
• Assess how to make decisions on whether or not increased alignment will benefit an apprenticeship initiative
• Understand how to use the assessment information to improve alignment
