This webinar discussed what the best practices are for apprenticeship programs working with their local workforce development boards. Participants hear from apprenticeship experts at NAWDP about how the state of Missouri has been working hard to provide a multitude of career pathways for their students. They encouraged participants to get involved and start talking with their own local workforce development boards to best support registered apprenticeship.

Participants heard about apprenticeships and adult education in the state of Illinois and the barriers they have faced when bridging the two. Presenters also highlighted programs that were successfully making progress between bridging the two. They outlined strategies that could help participants to use as a model to be successful in their own states.
