This is an introduction to Registered Apprenticeship for those who are just starting out.
This webinar discussed what the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) requirements are for Registered Apprenticeship programs and how to use local education institutions and training partners as RTI providers. Participants joined us for this session to explore RTI and how to build partnerships for effective RTI. This webinar was aimed at educating workforce development board and One Stop Operator staff.
This presentation is an overview of how to connect the public workforce system Local Workforce Development Boards and utilize them in Regisered Apprenticeship.
Session 1: A Guide to Planning
This session focused on the guidance in WIOA for service alignment, and how states currently approach alignment as it relates to apprenticeship in their Unified and Combined State Plans. State examples were shared, along with the recognition of the importance for leadership across important system “drivers” and stakeholders.
Session 2: Assessing Service Alignment in Apprenticeship
In this webinar, presented by a representative from the National Disability Institute, participants gained an understanding of a leadership role versus a leveraged role, learned to recognize different levels of alignment, introduced to alignment assessment, and reviewed support provided by the Strategic Partnership and System Alignment Center.
At the Missouri Association for Career & Technical Education Summer Conference, the Center presented, Adapting Your Programs to the Modern Apprenticeship Model, including an overview of the Center’s work.
