The U.S. Department of Labor's Next Level Now Collaborative hosted the webinar, Engage Businesses Through Registered Apprenticeships: Yes, WIOA Can! This webinar provided information on how Registered Apprenticeship (RA) practices can effectively engage businesses, increase retention of employees, and provide career advancement for workers, with a focus on marginalized populations. Also, there was a brief discussion on co-enrollment between RA and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs.

Industry & Workforce Effective Engagement to Expand Registered Apprenticeship

Participants attended a virtual technical assistance session entitled Industry & Workforce: Effective Engagement to Expand Registered Apprenticeship. More than just an informational webinar, this session featured employers, select workforce partners, and leadership at the U.S. Department of Labor in a frank conversation about what’s working for employers and what improvements can help grow Registered Apprenticeship (RA) nationally and at the state level. The session was a fast-paced 60 minutes, including time for discussion and Q&A.
