The Center of Excellence team members from Safal Partners and NAWDP hosted a Super Session and break out workshop on U.S. DOL grant-funded opportunities to access TA around critical topics including WIOA implementation, Registered Apprenticeship co-enrollment, pandemic/economic response and virtual service delivery, fiscal/administrative/operational strategies, employer engagement, and performance management, including DEIA work.
Center staff presented a workshop at NAWDP's annual conference that outlined the collaboration between COE and its partners under the USDOL's award of a cooperative agreement, as well as the goals and focus areas of these partnerships.
Online webinar series
The Virtual Institute brought together state apprenticeship expansion grantees and key partners for a national dialogue on apprenticeship, with a focus on states as facilitators and drivers of Registered Apprenticeship expansion. Center of Excellence leadership spoke on the Center’s work and how state grantees can both access and contribute to technical assistance on topics relating to apprenticeship alignment with education and workforce systems.
