System Alignment with Apprenticeship: 3-Part Webinar Series Part 3: Increasing Service Alignment in Apprenticeship Initiatives

Once alignment assessment is completed, how can this information be used to strengthen an apprenticeship initiative? In this session we look at what this assessment tells us about "where we are” and moving to "where we would like to be" in alignment. Using lessons from "Implementation Science" we consider the engagement of critical drivers, their roles and their importance to systems change that is often required in the objectives of apprenticeship expansion.

Objectives:

  • Recognize the importance of Consensus in Alignment Definition
  • Assess how to make decisions on whether or not increased alignment will benefit an apprenticeship initiative
  • Understand how to use the assessment information to improve alignment
  • Recognize tools and resources available to support leadership teams with alignment Speakers: Doug Keast, NDI, and Lou Adams, NDI

As you begin your RYA program, it is important to have role clarity from the beginning and adjust as needed during development and expansion. Recognizing these roles and communicating the expectations with your team increases your effectiveness and communication for the many moving parts of the program. Clarifying the various responsibilities simplifies the process for all involved including the deliverables to the US DOL. In this session we will give an overview of the various roles for your internal educational team, employers, and the apprentice.
